Introduction
Students have read about the Dust Bowl of the 1930s. In this
lesson, they will learn more about the Dust Bowl from a wheat
farmer who experienced these years of brutal drought and dust
storms.
Lesson Description
Students will go to the Public Broadcasting System Web site
and read a firsthand account from someone who experienced
the Dust Bowl of the 1930s. They will then answer questions
about what they have read.
Instructional Objective
Students will be able to read and answer questions about a
primary source document.
