• Familiarize students with hotels in the Latin American world

Notes

• Students may enjoy finding a hotel in the same city and country they explored in the Repaso activity, El mundo hispanoamericano. You could have them use the worksheet map from that activity to indicate the location of the hotel they choose in this activity.

• Students may not be able to fill in all the information on their worksheet about the hotel they choose. For example, some hotels don't publish their rates online while others don't provide tourist information about the city or region where they're located.

Expansion

• Have students do oral Communication Activity A on page 162 of the textbook, using the hotel information they will have downloaded and printed out from this Internet activity. You may also have them use the same information to do written Communication Activities A and C on the same page.
